After a reasonably noisy evening of ‘90s nostalgia courtesy of DJ Beef . We head for Breakfast in the Tudor dining room of the pub . All authentic and All in a regular Pub remember!
We leave Fowey as a small group up the steep incline towards Tregaminion Chapel where everyone is to get our crew uniform then join up and enter the town as an entire party .
3 miles later – it’s amazing to finally meet up with people who up until now were only names
The Lord of this estate – Lord Richard Rashleigh gave THE most self effacing humour laced story of this place. Very Very British
It’s quite a sight on the normally deserted ancient Dark Routes .
And into the final stretch before Fowey
The Mayor , Vicars and invited dignitaries are waiting on the Quayside for a pilgrims blessing speeches and Bon Voyage .
Dinner at 6.00 at the Fowey Gallants sailing club and more speeches and thanks – especially to those of us who stayed on the trail to wait and give first aid until and ambulance arrived .
These Samaritans were Rob Pederson , Dee Faulkner -White – and Elaine Lipiatt . All cared for Carol the local vicar with us who had with astonishing bad luck , fell and broke her hip . We all wish here well.

We leave for the Quay to board shuttle craft to take us to the ship . Leaving Fowey is clear and chilly but it looks fabulous and we see the ship 
All lit up and huge as we get closer !.

Comfy 4 bed bunk cabin- in a 2 meter square room- Proper Job !
After 12 miles out at sea we have no phone or Net signal tomorrow .
